EAD extension with the I-102 receipt #

Hello Team,



I got my I-94 extension based on my spouse I-94 which is valid till OCT 2014. But it has incorrect surname, I have applied I-102 to correct the name and I got the receipt number # for that.

Can I apply my EAD extension by submitting the I-102 receipt # and a copy of new I-94 which has incorrect surname, or should we wait till we receive the original I-94 with correct I-94 ?

New I-94 Validity: OCT 2014

Present EAD validity: JAN 2013
