H1 is approved by USCIS from employer B and applying for L1 from my current company A

Hi All,

I really appreciate if anyone can help me on this. Here is the situation i am in right now. Currently I am in India only working for employer A.

1. Via Employer B, they have filed my H1-B petition which got approved by USCIS. I am yet to go for Visa stamping for this.
2. Mean while, my Employer A [current] is planning to transfer me to US on L1. The immigration team has started the paper work.

I wanted to continue in Employer A and transfer to US on L1. Will I face any issues with the H1-B petition approved from USCIS?

Please help me with correct answers.

H1 and L1 are filed on separate petitions and are separate processes. Its also true that you can have only valid H1 OR L1 in the passport, not both, at any given time.

Even if your H1 petition is approved, you still havent got it stamped in your passport. So if you are asking whether your L1 petition or decision will get impacted because of your H1 approval than the answer is NO.
