  • How to get L2 Visa after L1B Expired, having valid I94

    Hi,
I am in L1B visa, got it in Jan,2010 and My Visa and petition are going to expire in Jan,2013 and I got a I94 till Sep,2015. My wife is in India and she has a L2 visa till Jan,2013 and I am planning to bring my wife and my Kid after April or May and by that time her visa will be expired.
I want to know how to process her L2 visa with my I94 after my L1B expired. Please help me with the steps to apply for L2 visa.

    1) My Wife has L2 already and it will expire in Jan,2013, She haven't used this L2 so far. How to get another L2 visa [or extending the current L2] for her with my I94 after my visa got expired?
    2) How to get a new L2 for my Kid with my I94?

    Thanks for your help.

Without your visa extension it may prove difficult for your spouse and dependent to get the L2. You can try by sending family for L2 visa based upon the I-94 but again it all depends upon the visa officer at the time of interview. If they get L2 its good otherwise only option would be that you too go with your family for visa stamping after traveling outside US and filing L1 again with extended petition.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
