  • L1 A petition rejected but have Valid L1B while in India for Vacation

    Hi Everyone,

I am going to India next week for one month. Currently my L1 B is valid till March 2012 and my L1 A petition is under process. While I am India, if My petition for L1 A is rejected, can I come back to US on my L1B? Will my L1 B still valid even though my L1 A petition is rejected?

Please provide help if you had any experience in this situation as it will make my travel less stressful .

Hi All - I too have a similar query. I am applying for a L1-B (Blanket) to L1-A conversion for my GC processing. My I-94 is valid till Feb-2014. In case of a L1-A petition rejection, would my L1-B be still active?
Would I be causing any harm to my existing L1-B status or my wife's L2 status by doing this?

It would be really really helpful if somebody can clarify this.

L1 B should still be valid even though your L1 A petition is rejected.
