Typo in L1 B petition

    Typo in L1 B petition

    I have an appointment with US Consulate on 11th Dec 2012 for my L1B Blanket Visa filed by my company. I have noticed that there is a typo in the petition filed by my company i,e my year of completion of degree is mentioned as "2002" instead of "2001". Will this matter a lot for my US VISA approval?
    Do i need to point out this mistake during my document screening?

    It should not matter. In interview they will do due deligence. May ask purpose of visit, area of specialization etc.
