L2 Visa DS160 filled as Homemaker

Hi,

My wife is working at India in a MNC company. Accidently, we have submitted DS 160 form as Homemaker. She had got the L2 visa. Now her company wanted to go her as work from home (Work from USA) option. Does it cause any problem? Kindly help me. Thank you.

Even otherwise, if she is working in her home country, she should have filled the employment information. The question is about her current status (as of the Visa application), not what she plans to do while in the US.

If she has not booked an appointment yet, she can fill a new DS 160 and use that to book the appointment.

She has already attended and got the L2 visa. Could you please let me know how to proceed furthur

That may pass under the radar. But in future make sure you read and understand every question and answer accurately and truthfully. Such errors can be taken as misrepresentation and can affect any future applications.

Also, she should not work until she gets her EAD.
