Currently on valid L1B until 2015.Which is advisable about visa conversion?

Currently I have Valid L1B- 3 Years until Mar2015.
What should i do whether should i convert to H1B or try my luck in L1B extension for 2 more years?
Please advice me.

Both L1B and H1B were designed to cater to different needs, It depends upon a lot of factors internal as well as external such as nature of project, duration, your skill set involved, etc. But if you are worried about the extension not getting through and you have work beyond 2015 too, advisable to file H1B in April 2014 to be able to get a COS to H1 in Oct-2014. The employers are currently gearing up for 2013 filing now so I doubt you are going to get much interest from your employer for 2014 filing now, but as the saying goes, no harm in lining up your ducks.
