Documents for L1 - H 4

I am planning to move on to H4 from L1B. Could you tell me what all documents to submit with application.

Evidence of your current status - I-94, H1 approval notice copy, H1 paystubs, copy of marriage certificate
Future status - Your L1 employer will take care.

Let's say my last day with my employer is march01 which is Friday. Can I apply for COS from march 4th which is Monday.
My i94 is valid till march 4.

Oops ignore the previous response. It was for H4 to L1.

For current status you will need L1 petition, I-94 and paystubs. For H4 status you will need the above mentioned documents.
You need to file the change of status before your last day at work. (Only receipt date should be before the last day at work).
