Hi,
My current l1 B visa is expiring on August 10, 2013 and I am planning to apply for blanket L1 B stamping in canada asap through my employer as extensions are given RFE nowadays. The problem is I once received 221G 5 years back when I went for blanket L1 B stamping India.
Since I received 221G once, according to my employer, there is a very high probability of receiving the same again in Canada. If I do receive, then it takes 4 to 12 weeks for my employer to provide the details and get the stamping. I need to stay in Canada during this process as I am already on L1 extension and I can not return to US without a stamping.
Is this true? Does my previous 221G has an impact on my current stamping?
Is there any other alternative?
Can I go for stamping on my existing petition first and then go again for blanket stamping?
I truly appreciate your suggestions.
