L2 EAD renewal

Hi,

I would like to get some information about the L2 visa renewal process.

My wife is on an L2 EAD expiring in Aug 2013. Both our I 94s expire in Jan 2016. Also, both our visas expire on Aug 2013. I have been in the country for about 3 years now.

My question is:

- Will the visa expiry date on the passport influence the decision of her EAD renewal? Should we get our visas renewed before we apply for her EAD again?

No, Visa will have nothing to do with that. EAD will be renewed as per the i-94.
