Hi,
My husband is in LIB Visa which will expire in July,2013.
I am in L2 and working with EAD which also expires in July 2013.
My husband has applied for L1B to L1A transfer along with my L2 extension. My questions are :
1> Generally how long does it take for L1B to L1A transfer?
2> When can I apply for EAD renewal? Can I apply for renewal only after L1A renewal happens?
3> If I have to wait for L1A renewal and if it takes 90 days, say it gets approved by May . I will only have 60 days left for EAD renewal which is not sufficient I guess. What shall I do in this case?
4> Say I apply for EAD renewal in May after my husbands L1A is approved, and I get EAD in August. But since my existing EAD already expired i July, can I continue my work for this 1 month period or take leave for 1 month. Or do I have to leave my job? In case I can take leave for 1 month, can I visit India during that time, i.e. when my EAD renewal is in progress? (say RFE and biometrics is done?)
