L1 B Extension - Decision to Initial Review

Hi,

I applied for L1 B extension in the month of January under premium processing. I got RFE in one week and after responding to RFE, the status got changed to Decision quoting the decision has been mailed without mentioning any status like Approved or Rejected.

After a week, now the status got updated from Decision to Initial Review with the below status message.

"On February XX, 2013, the 15-day Premium Processing clock stopped on your I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER. A notice was sent on this date explaining the specific reason for stopping the premium processing of your case. This notice will contain detailed information on further action required by you. Your premium processing receipt notice contains contact information for direct inquiries on your case."

My employer have not received any RFE or any decision from USCIS. Have anyone received the same message ? Is it approved or rejected ?

Online case status is not always reliable. Your employer should call USCIS to inquire.

Its been 4 days and the status is still the same. I asked employer and they have not received any updates from USCIS. Did anyone let me know how many days will it take for the online status to get updated ?

Guys the verdict was that the visa was denied and even after a month the status is the same. SO if the clock stopped status stays for more than a day, it is mostly a denial. Wish everyone else good luck with visas.
