My L1 is expiring on Sep 2013, and My I-94 is valid till sep 2014. However as per L1B visa rule, I will have completed 5 years of my stay on L1 on Oct 2013. So I should plan to leave the country by Oct 2013 right?
Also, currently I am in the process of applying for higher studies in US for fall 2013. If I get an admit, should I go for Change of Status from L1 to F1 or should go back to home country and set f1 stamped. Which is more advisable, given that I m approaching l1 expiry?
