  • Visit to US Virgin Islands (St. Thomas and St. Jone)

I am in US on a non-immigrant visa. My visa application has been filed for extension and my visa and I-94 are about to expire next week. I have the I797 receipt of extension that i received from USCIS.

I have plans to visit US Virgin Island St. Thomas and St. Jones (which is the part of US) in March second week.

Please let me know if i can fly there even though my visa and I-94 will be expired before my travel.

Let me know if any other inputs are required from my end.

You can go. Take your receipt notice with you as proof of your legal status, as there might be random immigration checks (especially if you look "different")

Did you actually made this trip ? How was the experience ? Any concerns without visa ?
