L2 EAD to H1

Hi,

I am working in L1B visa and my wife is working in L2 EAD and it is valid till Apr2014. Now we plan to apply H1B for myself and mywife. Incase if my H1 visa gets approved and my wife H1 visa gets rejected, Can my wife work on L2 EAD till Apr 2014? Please help me.

NO. Her L2 is valid only if your L1 is valid, if you lose your L1 status she would lose her L2 status too and should convert to H4. She cannot work on H4.
