Fresh L1B visa application after current L1B Expires

Hi,

I have a valid L1 B visa currently which expires on mar 26 2013. I have worked in US on this visa from Apr-2010 to June 2012.
I am planning to apply for a Fresh L1 B visa after march 26 2013.

Do you have any suggestions?
What are the chances of geting apporval for this. I do have specialized knowledge for the client project. I need to travel in May and so am applying this visa.

Any suggestion would be helpful.

Blanket L1-B renwal criteria

My employer did sponsor me for a Blanket L1-B and i was working in the US for one year and returned homeland.
The Visa expires September 19 2013. I am still with the same Employer.
My employer is ready to renew (sponsor again)for me the Blanket L1-B.

What is the earliest time my employer SHOULD apply for RENEWAL ? is it six months ? is it the same for both blanket L1-B and individual L1-B ?
