L2-EAD process

Hi All

my wife is planning to travel on L1 by her company and I may be going to L2..i understand that i can work on L2 after getting EAD..

i wanted to know what are all the documents required to get EAD so that I can work..?
is that easy to get EAD or chances of rejection is there?
is it required to travel to USA to get EAD..?
how long it takes to get EAD ..

please clarify and this helps me a lot..

is that easy to get EAD or chances of rejection is there? -- It is fairly straight forward.
is it required to travel to USA to get EAD..? -- Yes, you can only apply after arriving in the US in L2 status.
how long it takes to get EAD .. -- 2 to 3 months
