L1 A Individual Petition post blanket

Hi ,

I had applied for an L1A blanket in Dec 2012 which was rejected. We than applied L1A Individual petition (Premium) which is now approved.

Visa officer asked only four questions during my L1A blanket Visa Interview

Q: What Visa type you have applied?
A: L1A blanket

Q: How many years have you worked for Org and what level did you join?
A: 4.5 years, joined as manager and have been promoted to Sr. Manager.

Q: How many reportees would you have in US?
A: Currently I would have 4 reportees, however once I reach US, plans are to hire additional team members.

Q: Which Visa these reportees have?
A: H1B

Q: Whom would you report to in US?
A: Named Accordingly

Q: Is he / she based out of US and what visa type he / she has and what is his / her designation
A: Based out of US and currently holds H1B, Senior Manager

The employer applied for the L1A individual petition (premium). the same has been approved last week. I am awaiting for the Docucments , post which will apply for stamping.

I have few queries:

1) Help me understand what kind of potential question VO can ask now. (I have gone thru the sample question provided in this website)
2) What are the chances of getting the visa.
3) One question which I think VO can ask: " Why was your L1A visa rejected last time" please suggest a decent response.
4) What additional workouts should I do / prepare.

I am in a similar situation as yours. Got L1A blanket rejected and employer is now applying for L1A individual.

Wanted to check with you , did you get any RFE for your individual petition process ?

How soon you got your individual petition approved ?

Hi Ranjith,

Yes I had received an RFE for the Individual Petition, Since I had applied in the Premium category the revertes were quick. I received REF in a weeks time of submission. Post submission of the RFE, received the final verdict again in a week's time.

I thing if you apply in the Premium mode USCIS needs to revert in 15 days. Please check in the official websit for a confirmation.
