Question regarding marriage documents

I am a citizen of India currently staying in USA on L1 visa. I am going to marry under "Registered Marriage". As mentioned on the website, I must give thirty days notice before getting married. I have contacted the lawyers in my city and as per them 30 days notice is only required for the marriages where bride/groom do not have consent of the family. So if the families of no issues 30 day notice is not required.

So my question is whether I really need a 30 day notice copy or not
