Missing arrival date stamp in India
Hi,
Long time back, I traveled from USA to India in Feb 2007. I landed in Chennai airport but I did not have my arrival stamp done by the airport immigration authority. I forgot to verify my passport at that time. I verified it only yesterday while trying to plan a different travel. Do you think this is a problem? Is there a process to get the arrival stamp done now for a past date. Some kind of observation written by an Immigration officer in the passport? I have all the evidence of the travel. It's kind of silly to ask after 6 years but just wanted to know. Will this be a problem for any kind of future Visas/GC etc?
