Hi,
My L1 VISA and 1-94 VISA got expired on Jan 2013, However in December 2012 my employer filed for VISA and 1-94 extension and I got a receipt of notice of action from USCIS stating that they received my application and it's under process. However in March 2013 I have moved to new place (Previously I used to work in CT now moved to MN) and I tried to change my address online using AR-11 form. Since I have pending petitions, It prompted me to change my address in pending petition as well. It looks like address change has been processed in AR-11 form, However after 4 days, I got email from USICS stating that "We cannot honor your request for change of address. Only petitioner, applicant or attorney may request change of address". I immediately called USCIS about this, they told that only If my employer called them, then only they will provide information on my case. I contacted my HR manager and notified the issue. They contacted my lawyer and explained issue. On the same day my lawyer tried to change address online for my ending petition and they sent me some reference number. But after 8 days, I again got same mail from USCIS, they cannot honor my request to change my address. What should I do now. Can someone please help how to proceed.
Thanks & Regards
