L1B Individual - Training certs for supporting specialized knowledge

Hi guys,

I am currently working in a product based company in energy sector since last 2 years.
My company is in the process of filing an L1B individual visa for me.

I have worked on a number of applications in the proprietary product and have been involved in their design and development.
I have a sound domain knowledge too which can be somewhat termed as a niche domain.

However, I have heard that there should also be training certificates accompanying the other docs.
I wanted to understand if this is a must in every case since it is very well possible that the knowledge was gained while working on the product itself.

Because if it was just a matter of few training sessions, anyone could have been trained for the special skill.
Are there people who have faced similar issue and those who have been able to support their case without any training certs?

HI,

I had experienced the same problem in my L1 Individual visa last year.I have been working with same product for more than 6 years and gained the specialized knowledge by working for 7 years.But I got RFE last year and I tried to explain with list of training's which I have attended internally to gain knowledge ...but still it got rejected.Now my company processes L1-B blanket after one year.I'm worried as how to convince the VO
