Resignation on L1B - need help urgent

Hi Friends,
I am currently working on L1 visa. I applied for H4 COS last week.
I resigned yesterday and my company wanted me to leave to India.
Any legal issues if i leave right away?

You don't have to leave since your change of status is timely filed. If you do leave, the COS application becomes irrelevant. All you then need to do is obtain H4 Visa while abroad and return in H4 status.
