Stay till I-94 date

I initially came to US on Nov 11, 2007 with L1B individual visa and left to India on Feb 20, 2010 after staying for 2 years and 3 months as my visa was going to expire.After 10 months break, I came back to US on Dec 25, 2010 with a new L1B Blanket visa. The visa expiry date is 10-July-2013. I went for a vacation to India during last year March and when I came back, the immigration officer gave me a new I-94 with expiry date of Mar-2015. I'm planning to stay till my I-94 date. Is it fine? or will it cause any problems in my future visa processing as my 5 year limit on L1 visa will be complete by this September.

Since you didnt stay out of US for an entire year I dont think the second L1 was actually a fresh L1 petition based visa as a result you should avoid staying beyond the 5 Year L1 stay even if an I-94 is given.

Talk to your immigration attorney to determine your options.

Thanks for your reply. In that case I want to convert my visa to L1A. Can you please let me know when I can apply for L1B to L1A conversion? Can I apply now or will it cause any problems since I've I-94 till 2015?
