Hi Guys,
I was trying to assist my dependents to apply for the L2 dependent visa in Mumbai.
I was looking at the process on the ustraveldocs site.
The first step it says pay fees and then within that you are asked to create a profile on cgifederal website.
In the profile it asks for DS 160 confirmation number, so had to go back and fill the DS160 form first to get the number.
Again back to filling the profile, it asks for details about petition like name, number, start date and expiration date.
My petition being blanket L, it says valid indefinitely.
So the question is does anyone know what expiration date should we put?
In the pop up help for some strange reason it says passport expiration date, wierd. I had already provided passport details before that.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Also exactly what supporting documents they usually ask for when applying in Mumbai for dependents?
You tend to carry a lot of them but they seldom ask for all those. My query is specifically for dependent spouse and child applying together but separately from the main applicant. I got my L1 from UK.
