F1 to L1 change of status

Hello,
I have been an F-1 student studying towards my MS for the past year and a half (Sep 2011 to Mar 2012).
Prior to this I have been employed at the Bangalore, India office of my firm (for over one year ending Aug 2011)
Now I have taken up employment (F-1 OPT and EAD) at the US office of the same firm.
My company is considering applying for the L-1 transfer visa since I have over spent one year of the past three years employed at the India office.
Could you please advise on the specifics of this?
Am I eligible for the L-1?
What information must I provide to justify this?

F1 to L1 change of status

I think u have to be employed currently with the Indian office to be eligible for an L1 and this has to be your latest experience not at some firm you worked 2 or 3 years back.

I may be wrong but this is my opinion.
