    Maternity (FMLA) Leave on L1

    I am an L1 A visa holder. I would like to avail of the 12 weeks FMLA leave after my delivery. I am having a C Section and also having twins and might need a couple of months more. There might be no medical necessity for this but just a personal wish.

    If my company allows this extension of unpaid leave, will I go out of status?
