  • How can I get to know about my I-94 expiry date?

    Hi,

I currently have L1-B with expiring date as Feb 2014. I have understood by following your forum's threads that I can stay in USA after my L1-B expiration date also, only condition lies true is, till my I-94 expires.
I am not getting how to know about my I-94 status and when it is going to expire? Please suggest as soon as possible.

Appreciate your help and fantastic work on this regard!

    Regards,
    SS

You must have filled an I-94 form while entering US. You must have had a discussion with the immigration officer at POE while entering US and he/she would have written a date on your I-94 and stapled it with your passport. Check that date. If you dont remember all this, Google for I-94 images to see how it looks and go find it in your passport/document.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

To add to the above, if you are not in the US right now, I-94 that you will get when arrive in the US will depend on a lot of things. It can be given as per petition expiry date, passport expiry date or 3 years in most blanket cases.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
