  • Question on studying part time MBA on an L2 visa

I am an Indian citizen currently in US on an L2 visa. I work here and wanted to apply to part time MBA. But the university rejected my candidacy saying that I cannot apply for part time courses on an L2 but I can only apply for a full time course. Does anyone have any idea if I can apply for the part time course on an L2? Please help.

I dont think there is any such restriction for L2.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

Raghvi is right, your university is incorrect and they need to consult their immigration attorneys. The L2-visa has no such restrictions, and even gives work authorization. It they keep rejecting you, you could actually sue them for discrimination and collect a nice amount of cash to fund your courses at another university.
