L2 - Expiry date greater than L1 - expiry date

Hi experts,
I have an L1 visa and it has an expiry date of Feb 25th 2013 and I have applied for an extension and its still under process RFE.
My wife has L2 and it has an expiry date of March 25th 2015 (Two thousand fifteen!). Some people said it might have been a mistake.
But i am not sure.
She has gone back to India about 5 months ago due to some personal reasons and my question is can she travel back to the US now?
