You changing visa type from L1A to L1B so answer is Not eligible for IWP/drop box

Vishal - Can you let me know what did you finally here ? My understanding is switching from Blanket to Individual doesn't quality for IWP / Drop box. Reason is blanket and individual are considered different.

Please let me know as i have case of

L1B Blanket approved earlier & expired in Oct 2015
Currently i got an L1A Individual Petition for which i need to go to India.

L1B (Indiv) to L1A (Individual) is eligible for IWP but i am not aware of Blanket to Individual

Hello Friends,
My L1A-Blanket visa expired in March2016. Before it expired, my petition for L1A-Individual got approved. In this situation am I eligible for Visa Interview Waiver Program? I am meeting rest of the criteria. Please share your experience.

So, I have an approved petition L1B Individual and then I have latest L1 A individual petition. Can I go for Drop box?

I would agree L1A and L1B are considered same category. Visa Class is L1, it does not state L1A or B. Also, these were questions which i get when i was on Ustravel website -

H&L visas (does not say L1 A or B)

Now, can someone explain me how am I not eligible for the Dropbox?

Blanket to Individual wont help. you need to have two corresponding visas as individual.
