L1B to H1B Approved, Travel options to India 2013?

Hi All

I came to US on L1B on April-4-2011
I am on L1B currently with i-94 valid till: APRIL-3-2014

My current status of L1B to H1B with same employer is:
4/26/2013 H-1B approved by USCIS. awaiting original I-797 Approval Notice.

Initially I was planning to visit India between JULY-2013 to AUG-2013
But was told to avoid travel.

What are my best options of travelling to India to make use of Kids summer holidays?

Is it possible to travel between JULY-2013 to AUG-2013?

Answers I got from Attorney:

• If I stay in US I don’t need to get the Visa Stamped.

• If I go out before October-1-2013 in L1B VISA no need to go for VISA Stamp can use L1 visa, but then I/family have to go out of the country again (Canada/Mexico/India) between Oct-1-2013 to FEb-6-2014 to get the VISA Stamped for H1B.

• If I go out After October month, suppose in December-2013 then I need to get the VISA stamped from INDIA for H1B.
