Hi,
I am on l1b which expire in Dec 2013.my company says goto India and apply for l1b to l1a. What happens if my L1A is rejected? Can I travel back to USA with my l1b?

Even if L1A is denied you can travel on L1B till Dec 2013 as long as the consulate officer does not cancel the L1B while rejecting the L1A too. I would advice to try L1B to L1A while in US itself.
