L2 or B2 for my wife?

I'm working with branch of USA's company in Thailand, my company will give me the L-1 Blanket petition for work with team in US soon.
I just married and would like to invite my wife go to US together around 3 month for travel purpose (no plan to work there), we plan to have group interview for this case
so the question need your advise is...
1. Should my wife apply for L2 or B2 Visa type? And which type has more chance to get approve?
2. If prefer L2, can she use my "Application Receipt/Petition Number" or need separately one to fill in DS-160 form?
3. My wife on 8 weeks pregnant, should I tell VO about this? Since we will return to our county in next 3 month.
