Applying for L1a

I returned to India in 2009 after being in US for 5.5 years in H1B. Recently I joined a new company in Jan 2013. Can I apply for L1A since I have been more than one year outside USA. I was in a managerial capacity in my old company and also a manager in the new company.
I am 5 months into my new company, can get my L1a sponsored through them?

You have to work for the current company for at least 1 Year in order to be eligible for applying L1 through them.
