Travel when application for L2 extension is pending

Hi,

My I-94 is applicable till June 30, 2013. The extension will be applied in few days. Normally how long it takes for the decision to come?

I want to travel India in Aug 2013. My husband is planning to stay back till the visa is approved. Can i travel when my L2 (dependent visa) extension is pending?

2. Yes, you can travel. However, if you don't have valid L2 visa stamp, you will have to get that before reentering the US.
