Help! H1B to L2 Visa Issues

Hello everyone!

My H1B (on 6th year) will expire on August 30, 2013. My fiance is here in the US on L1A visa. We will get married in July and I plan to change my status to L2.

I am currently working on my EB2 petition from my current employer however I am still in the PERM phase. I want to make sure I remain in status after August 30, 2013.

1. Since I will have 6 years completed under H1B, can I continue working with an L2 visa until my EB2 is approved?

2. When do I need to file an EAD and how long does this usually take? I plan to do premium processing for my transfer to L2.

When do plan to change to L2? By going for stamping after marriage and entering US on L2 Or you will go, get married, return on H1 and then apply a H1 to L2 COS.? There is no premium processing of dependent visas.
