Whether L2 Visa holder can work in US with EAD still being associated with the IT firm(WIPRO) in India.
(If she is on long leave and didn't drop paper in the organisation in India)

Your question is not clear. It seems more of an HR issue than an immigration one.

If spouse is in valid L1 status, and L2 dependent has an EAD he/she can work for any employer willing to hire him/her.

If the L2 employer hasnt yet resigned from the foreign employer (in India, in this particular case) its more of an HR issue, as I am sure there would be some notice period involved, maybe payment if notice period is not served, and experience certificate not issued if notice period not served. But those have got nothing to do with immigration. Yes, you may need the experience certificates if in future you go for H1/GC.

Also, one can surely resign from US but again you have to serve/pay notice period as per individual company's HR policies.
