  • L1A Visa Denial. What next??

Hi, Currently am at USA on L1B, which got expired on March-20th (my current I-94 also expired on the same day).March 1st week itself my new L1A visa (conversion) was filed in, along with my dependent’s (My wife & daughter’s). Got an RFE on April 28 , answered it and now my L1A visa has been denied.

This is what it reads, "On July 3, 2013, we mailed you a denial decision notice for this case I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER. The notice explains why the denial decision was made and the options that may be available to you. If you have not received this notice within 15 days of July 3, 2013, please call customer service."
    My doubts are the following,

    1. Will it be any good if i file to appeal the decision?..
    2. How long can i stay here?. Can i stay in US till Sep 16th 2013 (180 days since the expiry of my I94)
    3. Can i apply for a work permit for Canada?.. how long will it take to get approved?..if so can i stay here till i get it?..

I am very much worried and any response would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Nicel.
