L2 EADAnd H1B

HI,

I am on L2 EAD my EAD expires on August 3rd 2013. i have applied for H1B. i have I-94 extension till 2016 . do i need to apply for ead renewal if i have to work ? will it be valid if my h1b is through ?
2) can i have both stautes i.e L2 and H1B or will i be officially having H1B after october 1st 2013???????
3) will i be l2 status(til i got stamped with H1B).
wats the expected process time for L2 EAD Renewal .

Your status will change from Oct 1. To work during the gap period (August to October), you will need to renew your EAD.
