Change of status from B2 to L1

If I apply for change of status from B2 to L1, Does my B2 visa be cancelled as soon as I apply (whether my L1 be sanctioned or not)?

No your B2 will be valid and you can stay on your B2 (without working, of course) as long as B2 associated I-94 is valid. Now whehter B2 to L1 COS gets approved or not depends upon the extraordinary circumstances under which you and your company needed to apply for a B2 to L1 COS without you going back to the Non Us entity country and applying from that country. And of course USCIS agreeing to those reasons which you provide them for doing a COS.
