L2 Visa for a spouse ( Husband) specific questions

Dear friends

I have just joined this forum hoping to get answer to my L2 Visa questions.
My wife got the L1-B Stamping done this month and I couldn't accompany my wife along with my L2 application due to the my wife's employer policy.
Now I have to appear for L2 Visa interview separately.

Currently I'm working for a big IT company and was in US on L1-B last year and this year My L1-B got expired .
The most seemingly difficult questions that can be asked during L2 Visa interview would be
1 ." Would you work in US on L2 ?
Although one can work in US on L2 after getting EAD but not sure what to answer during L2 Visa interview

2. If I say NO to above question then the next obvious question would be
"What would you do whole day when your spouse is at work " ?
Not sure how to answer this too.

I'm a post graduate in Computer Science from France and hold a B.E degree in Engineering from Bombay University so considering the qualification , the Visa Officer is bound to think that I would work in US

Please provide your inputs in this case.

As you can work on L2, there is no problem in saying Yes.
