Hi..
My L1B has expired on 12th July,2013 and I have applied for extension.I have got RFE and I have responded and attorney would have to file by 12th Sep, 2013. The decision would come any time in October. My questions are:
a. If my extension is denied in October, can I apply for H1B in March with a different employer? This is bcoz I have heard that I need to wait for 6 months before applying for a new visa. Does it apply only for L1s or to any other visa types (H1) as well?
b. If L1b extension is rejected, will it have any effect on the next L1 or H1 visa approval? I have heard that it would cause some problem, but not sure because some say it would and some are denying it. I am confused.
c. If at all I want to withdraw the response, by when can I notify my attorney to not respond to USCIS?
