L1 B Visa Urgent Enquiry

Hi,

My company is going to file a L1 B Visa for me in the next couple weeks.
I have an overall experience of 10 yrs in the industry and out of which completed 7 yrs in the same company where I am currently working
My question is -
I have joined a new team / new client who would be applying for my L1 Visa, so the current experience with the proprietory tool or product is just 3 months. I have been reading reviews/ posts where they say that we need atleast an experience of one year in the current project or with the proprietory product. In my earlier roles and responsibilties I have been using this tool for the last 4 yrs .
If I say to the VO at the time of interview that this product / tool has been implemented or deployed in my earlier projects or roles within the same organisation will that justify my Visa approval to the VO ?

Does your company own that proprietary product or its a third party tool?

There are no written rules around to what constitutes specialized knowledge /proprietary product etc. As its not easy to generalize. Especially when it comes to third party implementations, example, one is implementing ABC for XYZ while working for PQR. VOs rely more on combination of experience, the nature of tools, and their own judgements to decide.

Your U.S. employer will need to justify your experience and eligibility for the L-1B to USCIS first when they apply for the application. Only after the approval can you go for the visa interview. AT the visa interview, you must remain consistent with the application that was already submitted.
