L1 Visa expired, staying on I-94, what if my fresh petition will reject ?

Hi

My L1B visa expired on Nov-2012, am staying on I-94 which is valid till Jul-2014.
If i will apply for new L1-A visa and in worst case if it will get rejected then My i-94 will override by rejection and will have to leave country in 10 days... ?

Please provide answer for this query.

Unless explicitly mentioned in the rejection notice, you can stay till Jul 2014 and work.
