  • L2 working dependents

Hi, I have applied for my L1 Blanket visa along with an L2 for my husband and kid. My PAI would be this month. My husband is currently working a banking firm. Once the visa is approved he would quit and travel along with me. If permitted he would find an opportunity in the US and work there. Now to the visa officer can we explain this? or should the dependents not work during the time of interview itself? can we provide the above information to the VO. Please advise if there are any negatives in this. While filling the DS 160 form- should we give the current employment details of the dependents too?
Thanks in advance! Your valuable response would be very helpful.

Legally L2 visa holders are allowed to work by getting an EAD. No harm in being truthful about it.

Also , you should also be truthful in the DS-160 and if dependents are working to mention the same.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
