COS from L1B to L1A. If COS L1A rejected, Can i Continue on L1B i-94 ?

Hi,

My L1B visa already expired and i am staying here on I-94. My L1B I-94 expires in Aug 2014.
Meanwhile, as i am eligible, Company wants to apply for Change of Status (COS) from L1B to L1A in Nov 2013.
If COS is rejected, can i continue to stay on L1B I-94 till Aug 2014 ?

Yes. Unless in the refusal notice they say otherwise.
