L1 B Extension denied, applying for new L1 B Blanket

Hi All,

My L1 B visa expired in Dec 2012. I had applied for an extension which was denied in August 2013. Now my comany wants me to re-apply for a L1 B blanket visa from India (mumbai). The immigration team of my comany says that the decision for my visa solely resides on the visa officer I meet on the day of my stamping and I do not need to worry about the extension denial.
Please advice as what are the things I need to be careful of? Things like documenation? questiosn from the visa officer etc?
