Help : Confused with my L1 visa extn

I am writing to see if i can get some clarity or thoughts on my visa case.

My employer had applied for my L1B Visa extension with a premium processing. Four days back my visa processing clock stopped with the status still stating as "Initial Review". I called the automated number to understand that a I797 was sent for further action. I checked my attorney they are yet to receive the notice. I am now curious about the status and i would like to know your thoughts

In case of visa extn denail, what is the form that the USCIS issues ? does USCIS still issue I797 for denial ?
Is there any way to get the status ?
Does it take this long (4 days now) to get the status ?

Hello,

USCIS will communicate, whatever the outcome of the application is.

Generally, in Premium Processing, a case takes 3-4 weeks.

Have you tried the email alert, where any decision taken is instantly emailed to you.
