L1B - Work location query

Hi,

I am newly joined in this forum. Thanks for useful information on USA Visas.

I like to apply for L1B (blanket) Visa for USA. I understand that L1B is for Intra company transfer.

After reading lot of threads on L1B in this forum, I have a query on the following. Please clarify it.

L1 is meant for Intra company transfer. It is for people transferred to head quarters in USA.

For example consider my parent company headquartered n Chicago and client location is in Texas

My queries are

1. From which location you will be working ?
Will the answer for this query be Parent company location (Eg: Texas) or Client location (Eg: Chicago)
2. Where do you work.
Will the answer for this query be Parent company location (Eg: Texas) or Client location (Eg: Chicago)

Basically I would like to know whether I should work in client location also.

In other words, I have to work only in parent company location (Chicago) and only if required for
meetings/implementation/testing I can visit Client location.
Is my understanding is correct ?
